Beating Lactose Intolerance….again…..
Well I have my list of food to avoid, and it is working:
- baked goods*, (cake, bread, cookies, crackers, donuts, waffles, pancakes…)
- butter
- buttermilk
- candy*
- cheese
- chocolate*
- cream
- cream soup
- curds
- custard
- deli meats*
- egg substitutes*
- frozen yoghourt
- gravy*
- ghee
- Half & Half
- hot dogs*
- ice cream
- kefir
- margarine*
- milk (whole, 2%, 1%, skim, condensed, evaporated, powdered, lactose reduced)
- pizza
- pudding
- salad dressing*
- sausages*
- seasonings*
- sherbet
- sour cream
- yoghourt
Chocolate is still one I can not give up, but its wierd, since I have given up other lactose containing foods, I kinda don’t want chocolate. I have one bite and I leave it. I think its dark chocolate all the way. I am going to source some chocolate brands with no lactose….
Green and Blacks Dark Chocolate. This shall be my mecca.








I’ve been wondering if I have the early stages of becoming Lactose intolerant. I’ve heard some of the symptoms… we’ll see!
I’m with ya, though… chocolate would be THE hardest to give up!
