Thursday 13 #7 29th March - Desperation
13 Things you do in desperation:
- Eat a pot noodle for lunch
- Tie your air back and spray it will something if it needs washing
- Use hand towels as loo roll
- Use a spoon for eat your dinner because there are no forks.
- Fill the water cooler with tap water.
- Wear your earmuffs at your desk
- Wear your gloves to type as your fingers are freezing
- Buy ‘ a pound of potatoes for a pound’ off the market and eat all of them to save money to go out and get drunk the next day
- Eat your mums Turkish delight even though you hate it
- Buy ‘Clinical Vodka’ (white label, black letters spelling ‘VODKA’) instead of the nicer stuff or another alcoholic drink
- Cut up your old tights/stockings to form hair and arm accessories (goth related)
- Use an elastic band to help secure your watch strap until you can afford to use one
- Cut open the shower gel to get the last bit.

Good list! I’ve done the typing in gloves thing myself. And I’ve cut open shower gel and shampoo bottles, too, LOL!

My favorite is the hand towels as bog roll although the turkish delight thing is a close second. I don’t think anyone here in the U.S.knows what turkish delight is. It’s so deliciously nasty…just the thing to eat when you;’re really desperate

You know if you cut the tips off your gloves, they still keep your hands warm but make it easier to type. I have numerous pairs of mismatched, fingerless gloves if you’re looking for a pair. Grin!

haha! i used a spoon to eat my salad last night. we’re interning as med students at a hospital and usually just order dinner. since my bf forgot to get two pairs of utensils for both of us, he got to use the fork (he had fried chicken with rice) and i had to make do with a spoon. hilarious that i’m reading about that now.
