Thursday 13 - Accessories for Infest 2007

Filed under: Escapades into the slightly freaky... — Red July 11, 2007 @ 10:44 am

I am attending Infest 2007, an electronic music festival in August and as I have brought a new computer I can no afford my usual array of three new outfits. So old outfits are going to be worn, but with different accessories. The three themes are Nurse, Military and Nasty Chastity (apologies to the religious among us, but unfortunately this world has made me Atheist - Go Normal Bob)

So making up accessories is what I am planning to make the outfits look new, fresh and exciting, so this is my shopping list!

1. Red Satin Ribbon for my dreadlocks( My nurse theme is red and white)

2. Red Hair streaks ( to pin in, my hair is currently like blondy/auburn dreads)

3. White dreads to pin in ( completes the white and red hair theme)

4. Red Alice band

5. White skull and cross bones patch ( to sew on the head band)

6. Black Alice Band

7. Silver sew on patch for said black Alice band for the Nasty Chastity Nun Ourfit

8. Fishnet gauntlets

9. Olive green ribbon ( we are getting military now)

10. 3 Military patches - one for the head band I am sure but the rest were just cool

11. Nurse bag from Demonia

12. Red and White nurse PVC eye patch.

13. Mixed mini claw grips to wack in my hair for in the day.

If you are wondering what the Nasty Chastity outfit means….

Help Me:Scriptaculous ajax drag and drop wedding price quote thingy

Filed under: Escapades into the slightly freaky... — Red July 10, 2007 @ 10:13 am

Well its a project I am trying to get to work, running from this tutorial: Ajax Workshop 3: Shopping Cart using Script.aculo.us I am trying to construct a ‘Wedding Quote Calculator‘ The drag and drop is the easy part, but I need to assign real values to the ‘boxes’ and dynamically add up everything in the DIV and pull though in the total box. I am stuck. Its not hard as I am not a programmer! I was wondering if I could store the values in a php file, add whatever is placed in the shopping cart then spit out the value. I don’t want to resort to mySQL as the data will be fixed.I am also going to construct a drop down and radio button version as I doubt I will get it working too soon and it needs to be done for 2008 and 2009 weddings which are booking now!

I posted this on my pro blog scriptaculous-ajax-drag-and-drop-wedding-price-quote

I do need help on this as I am not a code guru!

13 Days till my computer arrives

Filed under: Whats gone tits up today then? — Red @ 10:10 am

The money went out friday like removing a bullet from your own flesh. Boy I am skint. I am going to have to live on £30 a week till the end of the month because of that baby. My laptop is still giving up the ghost even with all the anti virus software removed.

They god damn engineer computers to die after 2 years. It happens too often and its too accurate!

New Computer……

Another dell, mid range, 2gb memory….£429…..didn’t really want to buy a new computer till next Jan, but my little basics lap top has run outta juice, and just can’t cope with what I need to run now. It might also be due to the fact I have let my mum use the computer to open her emails in the last month or so and she opens all the spam emails and I have had virus’s coming out of my ears. Mcafee had a heart attack every time she used it. I am going to strip it down to the basics, so it can be used as extra storage space and mums spam filled evil emails.

Happy Debt Day!

Yes, this time last year I decided to join payplan. To date I have paid off £8123.57 off my debt. In September I will have crossed the £30K marker, and finally be in the 20’s. Its taking a long time, but I will be debt free soon. My attempts to save more money to put towards the debt have failed. Car Tax, Car insurance,Car Service, MOT, raising EVERYTHING prices, my petrol costs £20 more a month now….having to eat…… have all gotten in the way. I do wonder whether its all worth it? The bankruptcy avoidance? Maybe I shall ask!
