This has been of great debate recently. I have decided I hate it. Its long winded…the previous feedback system was fine….and even if it kills off sellers in the states it will still be rolled out in the UK. I am moving myself off ebay as the fees are too much and the obsticles for a seller are getting worse. Its hard to be a good seller now on ebay….very hard, profit even harder…
Buy Buy eBay I lovedeed youuuuuu!
Whoop! Something for the weekend! I am quite excited about the new edition and I hope to start rolling it out this weekend across my various blogs…..
Just read a nice post on google groups on the chaneladvisor blog (again)! Google takes over the world - again….But is this really a chance for SEO agents and marketeers? Is this just another thing a business will have to keep control of? The SEO arsenal seems to now be:
Myspace
Blog - remembering to add your tags, ping everywhere, send trackbacks and comment on relevant popular posts on Matt Cutts blog including your URL…..
Google AdWords
Google Sitemaps
Social Bookmarking
Digging it
Tags Tags Tags!
Regular Link Submissions and Link Backs
Soon you will need an entire company to keep track and update all of the elements, as if they are not dynamic and moving…well…..
So google groups will be indexed in google (probably above other community sites) and SEO guru’s will try to make it into a ranking opportunity. Sometimes I feel the point of community sites is being lost in the ‘making money outa rankings’ war blazing between websites on today’s Web 2.0…..
Just checked out this post in the channeladvisor blog . If paypal are going to release this nifty little security key gadget (I have one for my business account) it will be the end! Unless the buggers get hold of your password and your security key that is! It will take a while for this functionality to be available in the UK as it will be tested in the US first.
Roll on the double authentication paypal!
I have recently installed the totally free open source version of sugarCRM. So cool! Like a free salesforce. It will be great for the campaign with Jay. SugarCRM has most of the needed functionality of salesforce and also can integrate with mambo/joomla as a portal to register interest for your sales/leads modules and also for cases. Still need to get that to work but its going to be in the pipeline.
Go Opensource CRM!
